The ultimate trailer for House of the Dragon‘s forthcoming third season opens with a scene of battlefield carnage. Judging by the remainder of the trailer, it will likely be a recurring theme.
No less than half a dozen extra moments within the clip present each large-scale and close-up brutality, intercut with scenes of scheming in and round King’s Touchdown as Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) seems to be to maintain her grip on the Iron Throne.
The trailer is considerably completely different than the one HBO released in April, focusing extra on these aiming to strip Rhaenyra of her energy together with a number of huge battle scenes, each on land and at sea. Watch it beneath.
“This is a huge season. It’s the biggest we’ve made by any margin and by a wide measure,” showrunner Ryan Condal mentioned in a video message on the CCXP Mexico Metropolis conference in April, when the earlier trailer was unveiled. “It is dark. It’s funny. It’s action-packed. It’s emotional. And, of course, it has lots and lots of dragons. This season demanded the very best of everybody that collaborated to make it together, and I can’t wait for the world to experience it.”
Condal and Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin are the creators of Home of the Dragon, which relies on Martin’s Fireplace & Blood. They government produce season three with Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock and Philippa Goslett.
Home of the Dragon premieres June 21 on HBO and HBO Max.
