Oliver Stone has quietly wrapped manufacturing on drama White Lies, and some key previous collaborators have revealed to be a part of the solid.
Michael Douglas, who starred in Stone’s Wolf of Wall Road, and Willem Dafoe, who appeared within the filmmaker’s Platoon and Born on the Fourth of July, are on the solid checklist, it was introduced Wednesday.
Additionally on the decision sheet had been Ellen Barkin and Homer Gere, all who joined the previously-reported Josh Hartnett, who’s toplining the indie, and Yvonne Chapman. The function marks the primary narrative film in over a decade.
“The cast was a delight from beginning to end. And the Italian crew was the warmest I ever worked with. I’m profoundly grateful for this opportunity,” stated Stone in an announcement.
Written and directed by Stone, the film is described as being an intimate and provocative drama that explores household, loss, ache and uncovers how love can change form throughout our lifetimes.
Per the producers, Lies is informed throughout three generations and “follows Jack Freeman (Hartnett), a child of divorce now repeating his parents’ mistakes in his own marriage and with his own children. Feeling trapped, he embarks on a lust-filled journey to escape—only to find himself more lost than before. When he meets a woman, whose life is the opposite of his own, he begins an unexpected journey on the path of rediscovery.”
Fernando Sulichin is producing alongside Maximilien Arvelaiz and Jordan Gertner for Sulichin’s New Ingredient Media. The corporate beforehand backed Stone motion pictures Savages and Snowden.
Tarak Ben Ammar and Gianluca Leurini of Eagle Photos and James Packer and Jose Luis Manzano are government producing.

Douglas’ final main big-screen outing was Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania whereas Dafoe’s latest credit embrace Wes Anderson’s Phoenician Scheme and Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu.
Barkin just lately appeared in Netflix’s The Out-Legal guidelines with Pierce Brosnan whereas Gere, the son of Richard Gere, had a stint on Euphoria.
Douglas is repped by UTA and Manatt Phelps whereas Dafoe is repped by WME, Circle Administration + Manufacturing.
Barkin is repped by CAA, Bond Artist Administration and Del Shaw whereas Gere is repped by WME, Brookside Leisure and Jackoway Austen.
