After initially planning to announce this year’s Emmy nominees in two batches, the TV Academy will now be revealing the entire nominees on July 8.
The Academy had deliberate to carry again the announcement of nominations in numerous craft classes that depend on peer-group screening panels, saying nominees in these classes on July 15.
In saying the change on Tuesday, the TV Academy mentioned the transfer was designed to higher accommodate promotional marketing campaign schedules for Emmy Awards hopefuls.
Nomination-round voting for the 2026 Emmys ends on June 22. Ultimate-round voting, on the 2026 winners, runs from Aug. 17-26.
The 2026 Emmys is ready to air stay on NBC and Peacock on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The Inventive Arts Emmys, through which nearly all of the Emmys trophies are offered, will happen roughly per week earlier, on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6.

• Excellent Cinematography for a Sequence (Half-Hour)
• Excellent Cinematography for a Restricted or Anthology Sequence or Film
• Excellent Music Composition for a Sequence (Authentic Dramatic Rating)
• Excellent Music Composition for a Restricted or Anthology Sequence, Film or Particular (Authentic Dramatic Rating)
• Excellent Music Composition for a Documentary/Nonfiction or Actuality Program (Authentic Dramatic Rating)
• Excellent Sound Enhancing for a Comedy or Drama Sequence (One Hour)
• Excellent Sound Enhancing for a Comedy or Drama Sequence (Half-Hour) and Animation
• Excellent Sound Enhancing for a Restricted or Anthology Sequence, Film or Particular
