Prepare to speak to the animals!
Sycamore Studios has introduced that manufacturing is underway on “Doctor Dolittle: King of the Wild.”
The brand new characteristic movie relies on Hugh Lofting’s literary property and can be animated in partnership with Reel FX Animation Studios.
Per the official description, “Doctor Dolittle is a world-famous zoologist who must clear his name after a live-streamed expedition accidentally delivers a legendary creature into the hands of poachers. With the world turning against him, Dolittle needs to reunite with three estranged zoo friends for a daring rescue mission that could save the entire animal kingdom.”
“Doctor Dolittle: King of the Wild” is the primary characteristic launch from Sycamore Studios and can be directed by co-founder and chief inventive officer Timothy Reckart, who beforehand directed Sony’s “The Star” in 2017.
“Doctor Dolittle’s ability to speak to animals has made him every generation’s favorite ambassador between the human and animal worlds,” stated Reckart. “We are excited to introduce him to a new generation of families, through an adventure into the wild full of thrills, humor, and heart, that reminds us the world is full of discoveries yet to be made.”
The screenplay is written by household movie writers Cal Brunker and Bob Barlen, whose credit embrace the “PAW Patrol” films. Christian McGuigan and Cooper Waterman will govt produce the movie, with Saxton Washburn producing for Sycamore.
Along with the movie, Sycamore Studios is ready to develop a broader franchise enlargement round “Doctor Dolittle: King of the Wild,” together with graphic novels, gaming, and location-based leisure partnerships spanning zoos, theme parks, and household sights.

Reel FX Animation’s credit embrace “The Book of Life,” “Free Birds,” “Rumble,” “Back to the Outback,” “SCOOB!,” “The Monkey King,” “The Chosen Adventures,” and the 2025 movie “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.”
