Netflix‘s Emily in Paris will say adieu with its forthcoming sixth season.
Because the sequence begins filming season six in Greece, Netflix stated Thursday that it’s going to carry Emily in Paris to an in depth. Emily in Paris joins two different comparatively long-running and common Netflix sequence, The Lincoln Lawyer and The Night Agent, that the streamer has introduced will finish with their subsequent seasons.
Netflix picked up a sixth season of the present in January, after season 5 ended with Emily (Lily Collins) selecting to return to Paris after opening a Rome workplace of the advertising and marketing company she works for and beginning (and ending) a brand new romantic relationship.
“I think ultimately [Paris is] where her heart was, and it clarified for her the fact that she wants to be in Paris and she wants to live there, and it’s not a temporary thing,” sequence creator Darren Star advised The Hollywood Reporter concerning the season 5 finale.
In a press release Thursday, Star stated of the sequence ending, “Making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us. We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have Emily in Paris.”
Stated Collins in a video saying the ultimate season (watch it under), “Season six will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime. Our entire cast and crew are pouring our hearts into making this a fantastic farewell season.”
Season 5 of Emily in Paris spent 5 weeks in Netflix’s worldwide high 10 for English-language sequence. The streamer’s inner knowledge says the sequence recorded 250 million views (complete viewing hours divided by operating time) from 2023-25.
