Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) is bringing Dark Shadows again from the grave.
The cult TV present from the Nineteen Sixties, a Gothic cleaning soap opera that includes tormented vampire Barnabas Collins and his supernaturally dysfunctional household, will likely be reimagined as an grownup animation sequence, The Hollywood Reporter has realized.
The unique sequence, created by Dan Curtis, aired weekdays on ABC from 1966 to 1971 and gained a loyal following. It was one of many first hit daytime sequence and have become a permanent cult traditional. The present spawned a number of movie variations, most famously Tim Burton’s 2012 feature starring Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer.
WBA stated its animated Darkish Shadows reboot will proceed the saga of the Collins household.
