Actual-life couple Vino G. Bastian and Marsha Timothy star as on-screen rivals in “Ayah, Aku Mau Cerita…,” Falcon Photos’ Indonesian-language adaptation of the Malayalam thriller “Drishyam,” set to open in theaters Aug. 20.
Bastian, who starred in “Miracle in Cell No. 7,” performs a protecting father caught in a high-stakes wrestle to defend his household, whereas Timothy – finest identified internationally for “Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts” – takes the position of the police official relentlessly pursuing him. The movie’s title interprets into English as “Dad, I Want to Tell You…”
