The streamer already emerged victorious within the bidding struggle for the recent gross sales title, “La Bola Negra,” earlier Saturday, so a second acquisition can be a boon.
“Gentle Monster” is considered one of two movies Seydoux has in competitors at this 12 months’s Cannes; the Parisian actress additionally stars in Arthur Harari’s science-fiction movie “The Unknown.” “The French actress ably embodies the anguish of a wife and mother reeling from the revelation of her partner’s involvement in a child pornography ring,” begins Selection’s evaluation of the harrowing drama.
