“One Battle After Another,” “F1” and “Pluribus” are among the many films and tv reveals nominated for the Location Managers Guild International awards.
The thirteenth annual LMGI Awards, set for Aug. 22, and can be held at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica.
The LMGI Awards obtained a document variety of submissions from around the globe, every uniquely demonstrating how places enrich the artwork of storytelling and filmmaking.
Paul Thomas Anderson shot his best picture winning film in at least nine counties in California, at L.A. North Studios and in El Paso, Texas, while Joseph Kosinski had access to Formula 1 racing tracks and filmed “F1” in between races. He shot at Silverstone within the U.Ok., Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi.
The occasion will honor Location Supervisor Mike Fantasia with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Fantasia has labored on almost 40 characteristic movies, together with “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Killers of the Flower Moon” and “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” The LMGI Humanitarian Award can be offered to the Environmental Media Affiliation for advancing sustainable manufacturing throughout movie and tv.
Location Supervisor Nancy Haecker chairs the 2026 LMGI Awards Committee. Returning as producers of this 12 months’s LMGI Awards are IngleDodd Media and Erick Weiss of Honeysweet Inventive.
