Anna Faris is revealing the pointed joke directed at Melania Trump that was reduce from the newly launched sixth installment of the Scary Movie franchise.
The actress not too long ago advised Dexerto that she was at all times pushing for her character Cindy “to be a classic MAGA rabbit hole” within the horror-comedy spoof movie. “The kind of person that you saw outside of the Walmart during quarantine that was raising some kind of crazy-ass fuss,” she defined.
Faris then detailed the scene the place she shaded the “Be Best” marketing campaign, which the primary girl launched throughout Donald Trump’s first time period with a mission to deal with points affecting kids and younger adults.
“There was a moment where I am getting wasted, like so drunk. I am in my truck and I look into the rearview mirror and I say, ‘Be best, Cindy Campbell. Be best,’” The Home Bunny actress stated. “That didn’t make it, but I liked my little winking there.”
She continued, “You know, what are you gonna do? You gonna be mad at Cindy? I’m in a movie that is truly the most offensive movie ever made, and I’m the lead of it. And I participate in offensive ideas. I think I can kind of do anything. It liberated me.”
Faris has reprised her position as Cindy in 5 of the Scary Film installments, solely sitting out of 2013’s Scary Film 5. She then returned for the 2026 reboot, directed by Michael Tiddes, alongside authentic stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans and Regina Corridor.
The movie launched on June 5 and went on to top the box office with an estimated $55 million in home ticket gross sales throughout its debut weekend.
